three drum rotary dryer has proved its application in building materials, chemical, foundry, cement industry. It is used in the dehydration of dry mixed mortar, silica sand, foundry sand, iron powder, coal gangue, blast furnace slag, fine clay, etc. Final moisture content could be reduced to 0.5-1%. Optimal feeding particles should be below 30mm.

As three passes are concentric and interlocked, full-length drums maximize the effective length and residence time in a much smaller floor area compared with single pass dryer. Instead of gear driving or chain driving, triple pass drum dryer is driven by the rollers. Smooth transmission reduces abrasion and extends service life.

three cylinder drying machine  Structure:

The three cylinder drying machine consists of rotary body, throwing flitch, transmission device, supporting device ,sealing ring, heat source, beater device, belt loading machine, feeding machine, rotary roller, belt discharger, draft fan, discharger, and switch board.

This 3 pass dryer has 3 drying zones in the 3 cylinders(internal one, middle one and external one )which construct the rotating body. Heat processing of a product with high moisture content is done efficiently in those 3 drying zones. The product is put in from the inlet of the hopper, sent to the internal cylinder where heating of the product is made, then moves to the middle cylinder where evaporation of moisture is promoted further. The solid constituent of the product is gradually broken into pieces and discharged from the outlet via the third final drying zone. The hot air produced in the furnace is sent to the internal cylinder, passes through the middle and external cylinders. The hot air is then sent to the cyclone where dust is removed.

Three cylinder drying machine  charcteristics :

1. Three cylinder drying machine can take full advantage of excess heat, reduce heat loss and increase the heat exchange area, making the unit evaporation intensity of the dryer greatly improved, thereby effectively improving the heat energy utilization rate, reducing the energy consumption and making the heat efficiency of three-cylinder dryer improved in a wider range. Compared with single-cylinder dryer with the same efficiency, its heat efficiency is improved about 50% and energy consumption saving doubles.

2. Because the cylinder length of the three-cylinder dryer is one third of single-cylinder dryer and the base area saves about 60% than the single-cylinder dryer, the base investment is reduced correspondingly.

3. The three drum rotary dryer drives by adopting the friction between supporting roller and belting leather, and the transmission power is low, thereby reducing the noises when the equipment working.

4. The cylinder sealing system of the dryer adopts micro-contact technology, with better sealing effect and reducing the dust pollution.

5. The cylinder and raising material board of the dryer both adopt alloy steel plates which is double service life of common steel plates.

6. Three-cylinder drying machine  can use coal, oil, gas as fuel, can dry different shapes of material, such as lump, granular, powder and various materials.
